Freedom to Grow Campaign Update June 2008 |

Fellow SCC Families,
The end of May brought to a close the first quarter of the Freedom to Grow campaign. Many coaches use the brief timeout between the first and second quarters to check the scoreboard and determine where they want their team to be going into halftime.
In the first six months (Dec. '07 - May '08) our church family gave a total of $123,271.34!
As a church body, we have given well over 25% of what we have pledged and 24.6% of our miracle goal of $500,000.
I encourage each individual and family to pause and thank God for all of His blessings over the last 6 months. As you do so, reflect where you are in your giving and ask God to show you where He wants you to be six months from now.
In the first quarter, we were able to completely pay off two home equity lines and partially payback four others. The number of home equity lines we payoff should accelerate greatly over the next six months.
I am excited about the next six months of Freedom to Grow! I pray that this continues to be a time of spiritual growth at SCC. I pray for God's blessing as we work together to put SCC in a better position to reach those seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ!"
