Cross Current, the Student Ministry of Sycamore Creek, exists to reach students in 7th through 12th grade and to change their lives. We do this through four basic purposes:

WORSHIP
|
Cross Current Students are led to a lifestyle of worshipping God. We worship him through music, prayer, messages, and ultimately, our entire lives. Special worship services for students take place every Sunday night and during retreats and camps.

|
CONNECT
|
Youth groups are supposed to be fun, right? Well, Cross Current certainly is. Through events such as paintball, shopping trips, Cedar Point, ski trips, camps, retreats, and more we seek to connect better with friends so that we can connect better with God through good, clean fun.

|
CARE
|
No teenager wants to face life alone. One of the purposes of Cross Current is to care for each student and his or her individual needs. We do this through weekly small groups and a caring, loving adult staff.
|

|
GROW
|
Cross Current seeks to change lives. Change cannot happen without growth. Just as students grow physically during their teenage years, we think they should grow spiritually as well. Cross Current gives them opportunities to grow in their faith, from studies on the Bible and prayer to Mission Trips.
