Above the Law

So we just spent 9 weeks on the 10 commandments (that sounds weird, doesn’t it?)… we looked at some of the reasons God may have given these laws and how we can still apply them to our lives.  There’s just one problem… actually keeping them.  We’re in real trouble if our relationship to Him is based on whether or not we keep these laws.  

As we will see in this new series, God has made a new way for us to be right with Him.  It’s no longer about keeping the law.  In that case, the question is “Are God’s laws of any use to us anymore?”  We’ll examine that too in this five week series that begins Sunday, August 8th!
